There are many different types of tea, coffee, and caffeine-containing drinks available on the market. Some people prefer to drink green tea while others enjoy coffee. There are benefits and drawbacks to both beverages, so it ultimately comes down to personal preference.

Green tea is a type of brewed beverage made from Camellia sinensis leaves that have been steamed and dried. It is high in antioxidants called catechins which may help protect against cancer and heart disease . Green tea also contains caffeine, but less than black tea or coffee. A recent study showed that drinking green tea was associated with a lower risk of death from all causes. However, other studies have shown contradictory results so more research is needed before any definitive conclusions can be drawn.

Coffee is another popular beverage made from roasted beans of the Coffea plant. It contains caffeine as well as antioxidants called polyphenols. Coffee has been linked with a number of health benefits such as a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and liver diseases such as cirrhosis. However, like green tea there are also some studies that show conflicting results so more research is needed in this area too.

For many years I made coffee in the morning while at home and then stopped at the store on the way to work to buy a large regular Dr. Pepper mixed with diet Dr. Pepper or regular coke mixed with coke zero. I drink a can of soda maybe once a month and I'm not missing it as much as I did at first.I like green tea, but it's expensive so I drink black tea during the day or a tablespoon of juice mixed with 6 to 8 ounces of water to cut down on my sugar intake.

Earl grey only serve of course in the best bone china cup,

Coffee, tea, water, and beer.  Not all at once!

hi Tabber, green tea is very good for you ,but i am an ex drunk, and most ex drunks i know drink coffee and i am no exception.. you will find at most AA meetings coffee is the main beverage.....nice talking as always............................................................................................

A cup of tea - not green, a cup of coffee and wish I could drink green tea daily. I know it's good for me! Thanks for the GREEN TEA reminder, tabber.

Coffee for the most part. The only tea I drink is iced tea with lemon and sugar but once all that sugar goes in, I don't think it's a healthy tea anymore ;)

I'm an espresso consumer but unlike most, always add milk to the potion. Wherever possible, the third and most important additive is infused generously. That would be Grappa. AKA Holy Water in my parts of North-eastern Italy.

Yes Tabber I drink Green tea it's ment to be good it's lots of antioxidants I still drink coffee and tea I don't drink any soda what so ever and I drink water a lot of water

Distilled water, diet Pepsi, Coffee, Tea all varieties hot and cold, mixed non-alcohol drinks, milk and practically every interesting beverage known or considered to be a beverage. There are a few things that I will not drink that.

    Green tea and rooibos.

    neither

It’s has come up that green tea is bad for the elderly, it’s effects the liver and turns a bad problem worse. Never cared for it anyways. I’m a coffee drinker myself. I’m enjoying my third cup now…….

Coffee and green tea are both high in nutrients, and these nutrients have a variety of health advantages. Combining the two merely increases the number of nutrients in the drink that you may benefit from.
