    I Have seen mushrooms as well,but the tomartoes are delicsious,so i was told .but i collected them for my neibours,

          Article in current New Scientist on this subject. When we flush  the toilet we are wasting fertiliser and increasing pollution of our rivers and seas.

            they do a lot of direct drilling of untreated waste round here and the tomato crop between the grain is astounding.

            Years ago in the USA septic systems were dumped onto farm fields, Tomatoes popped up all over! from the seeds of course! But ever heard of e-coli? Wonder where that comes from?
