To see the answer, type your question into Google without quotes.

We answer questions here... we are not in the habit of telling people to "Google It", which you essentially did.
I can see how my answer looks like the typical "Google it" answer, but if you type "1.5 meter converted to yards" into Google, it doesn't just give you a list of hits. It displays an interactive Google app that shows the answer and then lets you do other unit conversions. So it's more like giving someone a link to a useful app.
I guess it would have been better to include the link to the Google search for that question, though, so they could get to it in one click.

Even though one can find the answer with a single click we usually include the link as well. :)
