Provident Hospital, Illinois- the first African American Hospital. For more info look up Dr Daniel hale williams on your computer. It's very interesting.
Well, you better check it out- what I read could be wrong. He graduated from Medical school in Chicago and then worked in Illinois. I have no idea where he was raised.
