Carers.......wow, such an unprofessional word.
Here in the USA, we use personal care providers or health care providers. Carer just seems so lacking as a professional title. I suppose though, all cultures are different and they have their own acceptable terminologies. I've never heard the term before either. I didn't understand it until you answered. I thought it was a misspelling for careers, lol
