The world athletes are a little upset at the Olympic Village in London, it seems all rooms for the athletes are without air - conditioning except for the rooms the English athletes occupy, was this done deliberately, possibly a psychology tactical disadvantage, i know the Aussie Athletes are more determine now to beat the Poms - what do you think?

I recall some years back a big hullabaloo when a new british built airliner was shown to the press and everyone agreed what a fine example of british design and craftsmanship it was. They were taken on a short flight and it was only when someone enquired where the toilet was situated that they discovered they had forgotten to build one. As you could well imagine, It caused quite a stink at the time. Dear oh dear!

I'm English and nothing surprises me. Mind you, there wasn't many Englishmen involved in building it. It's unusual if anyone was thinking of looking after their own over here, so it must have just been a mistake.

sunnyB - With the weather we normally get here you will need central heating not air con. We will be lucky if the hot spell we have at the moment lasts into next week. But as I said in my answer our government do'es nothing to help anyone who's white and English oh yes that explains it, most of our athletes are not. Whimpy Whimpy Whimpy Host Country performance ... transparently attempting to gain the advantage.
The British Press had the audacity to complain about the Canadian Snow Conditions.
This is what BAD FORM looks like!!!
WE ARE CANADIAN AND WE DON'T CARE ABOUT AIR CONDITIONING!!! WE BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would certainly appear to be more than an oversight, the Poms are used to their own climate, overseas visitors may not and should have been considered,I would take this as not only pointed but an insult, even if their weather probably doesn't require Aussies to use it,the option should be there.

Please. Please give them the benefit of the doubt. Let me see: 800 air conditioned rooms for the English only, and 0 rooms for the remaining 27000 foreigners. Definitely an unintentional oversight on their part.
They seem to be the "air apparents".
No offense: Let's go kick their asses.
