Hanging in there my Dad is in hospice me and mom are here with him and he is comfortable and he is lucid and able to to talk make some decisions and I ask for you're prays out there in internet land for they are a tremendous help in this trying period thank you:)

p.s we are in my sisters home there is a lot more room for everything we need and help to and the hospice nurses are angels plus the health aid I really like them there GREAT!!

Trying to get as much sleep as can they set up quarters in their dining room a twin bed a nice chair not what I'm use to but you have to do you're best coming on here sure helps and answering questions the serious one and lampooning the silly ones:)

I like it when you answer serious questions and you know I’ve always loved your lampooning. Do you have an idea how long you will be there? I remember when the kind nurses said “You can tell your mom you’ll be ok if she leaves.” I don’t know if she heard me but I kinda said it. I think maybe she heard my thoughts. That sounds strange, I guess.
One time when my mom was close to death, my family and I went out to a Mexican dinner. I was upset and not thinking right. My husband ordered me a Marguerita. I played with the candle on our table. In my state of mind and the strong Marguerita, I accidentally caught the curtains on fire. They were right above our table. I cried. I laughed. I got everybody else going. What a night! (A glass of water put the fire out. We gave the restaurant a VERY large tip.

itsamee I do not know they have said six months at the hospital the nurse say hard to saw few weeks I do not but mom going out to have hair done one of my sisters taking her there and then pick her up Dad don't like being alone in the room my sister and her husband setup for Dad and mom

I'm glad you are able to be close to your dad and are around family. Everyone sharing the burden of worry makes it easier and I'm sure it's good medicine for your dad to have so much family around him.
