I try to do that....check for spelling, grammar and sentence construction. Sometimes when I read my response later, I will edit for clarification. Proper communication makes it easier for everyone, I think.

Modification seems to be the new thing to do among the trouble makers (who shall remain nameless). I've noticed they use the tactic to try and make the responder look stupid (by having the comment/s not match up to what they said) or to update their answer without mentioning it hoping to get away with something derogatory or untrue. This is exactly why we lost the edit button on the old forum. Too many trouble makers messing with words. I may have to send to the admin and ask them to put a limit on the amount of times one can edit. They can do that.

To answer the actual question, I like to modify (edit) my answer as much as possible before I send it. Lately some members here have kept me busy responding to them as they try to stir pots so I'm back to answering without editing due to time constraints and the fact that there are other parts of the forum that need me (like answering real questions and not adults acting like kids)along with my other mod duties and I have a life too believe it or not. So yes, I like to modify when I have the time.
