I was standing in line waiting to pay for my purchases today, when two cashiers began talking to each other across the aisle.
The one young woman mentioned to the other that she'd loaned her mum her bicycle this morning because someone had stolen her mum's brand new bike just two weeks previously.
The customer right at the checkout, who didn't know the cashier, piped in and mentioned that she had a spare bike. She said it was five years old and was a man's bike but the mother was welcome to it, if she wanted it.
This was so sweet, that I thought I'd like to share.
Any kind acts you've witnessed recently? Please share. :)

My neighbour returned my dog who came out with me to get the mail but decided to take himself for a walk instead of returning to the house. I was very grateful. The woman is very sweet all day long. She rescues dogs.

My neighbor looks out for me. Last fall, I inadvertently locked myself out of the house when I got home from a CSUF football game. I'd stashed my house/grage key in the glove box and forgot until right after I locked and shut the garage door. He MADE me stay at his house overnight. He tried to clobber the gopher with my hula hoe, and keeps an eye on my place when I'm not home. His wife is a sweetheart, too. Nice people.
