... Now I am going to have a look as well because I only get 2 and 1/2 rings from mine! Very frustrating.
A friend told me that I have to contact the phone company to change this.

Here is your user manual http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/D1660om.pdf I scanned through it quick but did not see how to change the number of rings. Sometimes there is a switch on the phone's home base (where you put it to recharge). Try there.
