Wire it up? What do you mean? Like repair it? If it's broke, don't risk fixing it, electricity isn't anything to fool with. Buy a new one, they're not that expensive and will work like a charm......

Depending on the wattage of the electric cooker,you chorse the size of cable,possable 6 m/m or above,c/s/a,Then give it its own circuit at the Circuit breaker board,and make sure it is earth bonded,according to I,E,E ,Regulations,

In THE UK .YOU require a 45amp switch with neon light ,as it has its own supply from fuse box . run a 10amp cable from fuse box to switch Wire it to the supply it will be marked on SW. then run  a10amp cable from load 10amp cable to a socket behind cooker . SW  socket are marked pos neg earth ( +- n- e.witch is red live black neutral green earth.If cooker is under If cooker is 7.2 or 8.3 you can use a 6mm cable from cooker to socket
