Wire it up? What do you mean? Like repair it? If it's broke, don't risk fixing it, electricity isn't anything to fool with. Buy a new one, they're not that expensive and will work like a charm......

I Think he means connect the new electric cooker to the ,Cooker point provided,
In THE UK .YOU require a 45amp switch with neon light ,as it has its own supply from fuse box . run a 10amp cable from fuse box to switch Wire it to the supply it will be marked on SW. then run a10amp cable from load 10amp cable to a socket behind cooker . SW socket are marked pos neg earth ( +- n- e.witch is red live black neutral green earth.If cooker is under If cooker is 7.2 or 8.3 you can use a 6mm cable from cooker to socket

I think you will need a cable ,that can carry somwhere between 45/60amp for an electric cooker,
Cooker rating above 12kw. fuse mcb 45 to 50 amp cable size would be 10mm2. My mistake here hector cable should be the same size to cooker.
