my puppy has a cough and stuffy nose, can i give a childs cold or fever reducer
we got the puppy from the local pound, she has started coughing and nose is stuffed and she has a slight fever, she is only 4 months old, i need someones help on this please..

Usually Kennel cough does not cause a fever. It might be an upper respiratory infection and he has to see a Vet. asp.

I'd like to know if she truly knows how to check for a fever. Hopefully she's not just feeling his forehead.
She needs to check his nose. It is usually warm, if there is a fever.I would be very worried, with a puppy this young.
Absolutely correct. My dog chester had fever one time and his nose was warm and dry. He had a UTI.
