I have taught technical electronics but I like to teach children appliance repair, toy repair, how-tos and the like. Computer skills like working with Gimp or library searches etc are ok but knowing how to fix things like a clogged vacuum cleaner, unplug a toilet, repair an electrical wall plug, wash dishes, basic cooking skills, how to fix a bike or train your dog are all important skills that an increasing number of parents and children know nothing about. If the only way to wash a dish is known to be put it in the dishwasher, that will not get it don if the appliance is broke or the electricity is off. Our opulence is setting a lot of people up for a kick off the planet day. Dependency on all our gadgets may never have consequences…Can we really trust our system ?... that is made to fail and certainly will…because it is made to fail and certainly will.
Ok….I’ll teach kissing.

I can run any piece of equipment found in any machine shop. I could teach the machining trade, but it no longer exists in this country. I think I have the only fully equipped machine shop within forty miles, and I do it strictly as a hobby.

I started an Attention Deficit in Hanford. Nobody in that town even knew what it was (about 4, actually) In San Luis Obispo there’s an ADD group on every corner.
Hanford is about 30 years behind times. I prefer it to Fresno though.

Also arts and crafts for little kids.
Also outdoor activities for little kids. (Pick off a thorn from a rose bush. Lick the wide end and stick it on your nose. Tell the kids you’re a rhinocerous. Cheap fun, huh?!
I could give lessons on how to cure the hiccups too.
The bowling alley is really nice, too.
