      How does one teach an infant? Do you mean toddlers?

        At day care centers with infants, I guess you must first be good at changing diapers.  And probably parent the infants, engaging them by talking, singing, cooing, etc.   But if you are the actual teacher, and not an aid, you need a degree in early childhood development, and state certification in same.
