Sotheby's auction house in New York will auction off a 1895 pastel version of "The Scream" by Edvard Munch, one of the four versions of the artwork, on Wednesday. Experts say it could sell for up to $200 million, a world record price for a piece of art.

I started imitating this picture with my hands and face in college- soon everybody was doing it.  Though it was painted long before it somehow makes me think of the Holocauste

I really like the picture, but they'd have to come down by a couple hundred million for my budget!

It inspired a poster of the anti-nuclear protesters.. Here's a picture of about  200 who rallied last Sunday for shutting down the San Onofre power plant

Do you mean the orginal "The scream" painting, or a copy?

The orginal is estimated to be worth up to £50 million.

A copy ot so much
