Do you know someone who's voice drives you up the wall?

I know a woman who's voice and laugh cause the dogs in my neighbourhood to bark. It is hideous. She enjoys riling the dogs up. This, she thinks is funny.

I have never really wanted to smack anyone except her!.

I have to get rid of these bad thoughts!

Meditation is not enough.

I agree. I know people who have had neighbours from hell and it's a tough situation. Best to just move to the country! ;)

I don't suppose being "catty" would help? I don't know what you should do except avoid her and if she ask why, be truthful, you would rather not hear the dogs...............

You must be psychic...I'm having a similar problem with a woman who's decided I'm her new best friend...showing up unannounced and uninvited with a voice that'd peel the ugly off something ugly! It drives my kids crazy and it's beginning to get on my nerve...so much that I do not want her to know my new address!!Aside of being completely offensive I'm at a bit of a loss as to what I could possibly say to "make" her go away!....Help Fishie!!!

Oh, I once had a new best friend like this. I decided to drive him crazy instead. I picked a subject (music)... (obnoxious music) and I talked about it non-stop. I played it non-stop and I sang to boot. Badly. Eventually he politely told me that he could no longer be my friend.
Yay!
Actually I didn't find the music obnoxious... only he did. He tried to sway my thinking by bringing me tapes. I would put them in the player, listen to two or three notes, announce very loudly "NO" , hit eject and hand them right back.
I can't believe he didn't like Soca. Crazy dude.

I have thought about this. I once had a neighbour who was fined $5600.00 for this sort of thing. She also lost the ownership of her dogs. City by-law officials don't fool around.

Yes! the guy who lives behind me has a very deep,loud voice & he often talks late into the night while he is entertaining in his outdoor area. IN GREEK!!

Oh, Fishy, We had neighbors next to us when I grew up- The Lady had a very loud shrill voice!!! I think I can still imitate it...She used to cackle her husband's name at least 10 times a day!! Maybe that's the true reason I have some early hearing loss!!!!!
