    why Works word processing program cannot open ms Words files?

    I dont have Office 10 installed in my computer but I have Works word processing program. Any time I want to open a pdf file Works shoots up and doesnt allow the files to open up. Any hint?

      When you save your document in Word, do a "save as" and chose "Word 97-2003 Document".
