Many women widowed, divorced or even single, prefer to be addressed as "Ms". However, it has become more common to see just the name, Mary Smith, with no title at all.
Etiquette experts, however, will probably disagree with that, as they tend to hang on rather vigorously, to leaving things "the way they were". :)
