I am always completely shocked when I don't win... It knocks my socks off when someone else wins my prize...

How can this be?  I am as beyond the beyond the beyond ... that you have experienced this. 

I think you need to find a different place to buy your tickets.  In my experience, the ticket is always sold at the store I did not purchase my ticket from.

Truly frustrating.

I thought it was yours. 

Did you play your regular numbers or buy the 'Quick Pick' version? ... that might have been important. 

I quick pick and never win.

I feel for you Jules and the rest of Aka members who bought a ticket, it would have been awsome tp win it , i have a couple of more hours to see how i go, but it is only $31 million Australian dollars, if i win i will post it drinking champagne. lol.

I did not buy even one ticket, but my other half bought 50 tickets and had only had one megaball number. So much for wasting money. I understand there were 3 winners - Ks., Ill., and Maryland. People spent 1,5 billion dollars in the US to win this big price. The states made out lake a bandit. People in NH. alone spent 2,3 million dollars in tickets. Each of these people won 213 million dollars.

176 million to one. I helped prove those odds true and tossed a dollar in the machine. Not one number matched….yep that is mighty long odds there. I did math on the odds of various numbers showing up more or less often than others and got stats that looked like a roller-coaster ride. So i worked on probability theroms and various selection systems to see if one random number system could be shown to be comparable to another in such a way as to accurately predict a set based on the systems and got zip. I tried looking at random variables as future predictors with some pretty big computers attempting to hack through the hash to get a few leading indicators….the losses were more reliable than the winners and then that turned around unpredictably. I decided there are other ways that my time can be spent than trying to get one up on God.
