My grandmother would talk about her Irish family in Catawissa, Missouri. They worked on the railroad and she said they were called ?????. I can't remember the name she used. Thought it started with a C. She always said that the smart workers were the German Engineerers and the Irish workers were this name. Any thoughts? Thanks.
