Good Question.don't have more than 3 credit cards.make sure u pay more than just the payment their asking for try try to pay them off as soon sa u can.This will bring up your credit score.It will take a little while bit belive me it works.If u don't have any credit start with a store credit card.use what u can pay for when the bill comes in.Then when u have had it for a while u can try to get a visa,mastercard and so on.Good luck!!!!!!!

Excellent answer! Credit cards is what is ruining many peoples chance at getting ahead, their eyes are bigger than their wallets, they want everything now. I never even had a credit card until I was in my 40's.. I have two now, one is a gas card the other is AMEX. A lot of places don't accept AMEX so I use a debit card. Only reason I even have a credit card is when I buy something expensive or service, if I am unsatisfied and they don't make it right, I can contact the CC company and they will fight them for me. Fortunately I have only done this once but if I had paid cash or with debit card I would not have the support to fight it. Gas cards are a convenience. I pay off my cards every month.
