    my four year old grandson cant sit still at school and wont follow directions. they want him to go to counseling and get on meds. he does not have an attention problem. do you think this is the right thing to do?

    I think you need to tell them he is 4 and possibly high energy and I personally think they are too fast with the meds. Have his mom try less sugar in his diet. I think he might be getting to much high energy food and drink. It could be as simple as he is just too young fro school and being caged in a class. 


    I wish these schools would stop their crap of deciding there is something wrong with kids bored in school. 


    He's 4 for Pete's sake!! I started school at 6 and had trouble keeping my mind from wandering.

    Very true and feel it is a shame that people think babies need to learn to read before they even learn to tie their own shoes.

    I will be 70 soon, and I have the same problems, short attention span, low boredom threshold,can't sit still for 5 minutes.

    I bet you did not sit still at 4 nether.
