    What is a Chalupa? How is it diffrent from a tostado?

    Around here (in Texas) they are one of the same unless you are eating at Taco Bell.........

    They are not the same in the Mexican restaurant down town here... It's authentic Mexican but I imagine it is like our authentic Chinese or Italian food restaurants... It depends upon what part of the country the owner of the restaurant comes from (Usually the head chef in our small neck of the woods)... It is interesting... makes you want to go out more!
