This happens to me as well . Trial and error cause and effect has led me to guess that if you are ham handed (touching the top of your lap top resting hands this typing disaster happens . )I may be wrong ,but it never happens with a light touch . Possible to lose the whole thing you are typing to who knows where. I suggest you try a lighter touch and see if that helps . Beyond this I have no clue . Good Luck Bill .

This will happen if you are using a laptop and your hand brushes the touch pad (mouse).

Possible ,I have hands like Hoss Cartwright touching anywhere on the top of the laptop brings this result . Good advice !!! We both may be on the right track . Long and short of this may be to LIGHTEN UP !!!!! Heck of a answer when you think of it . Bill
