I cant grow any plants aside from aloe....

I have some plants my dad planted that have weathered the storm.... But the only thing I have that I have keep alive is my aloe.... Is aloe a cactus.... Do you have aloe or cactus.. Are they easier to care for than perinials ? Any suggestions for a country cottage look that is easy to care for?

I can grow anything to pat my own back... I have lemon trees from seed and an orange tree that I started. I plant every avocado seed I get and they all turn into trees but don't produce fruit where I live. Try elephant ears, all they take is watering....

I can grow Aloe as well... in spite of myself.

Herbs... I grow lots of herbs for the country cottage look and lavender. I have lots of lavender.

Buy plastic plants, they look so real. I didn't know we had several throughout the house till the wife saw me watering them and threw a book at me and said "They're plastic, Idiot". I thought I had a green thumb.
