I mean like elevator buttons and cross walk signals, I have to hit them 3 times for luck......

Oddly, I have used crosswalks and elevators this week. I pushed each button once. That's unlike me.
P.S. I DO push the >< button thinking the elevator will close faster, though.

Do that in akaQA and you get to read your response five times (or more)
You try to delete and it just won't happen. You live with your error unless Colleen comes along and fixes it up.

I've been stuck 3 or 4 times but I just stand there and wait for something to happen...it always does...eventually.

I push them several times if I'm in a hurry, just feels like the right thing to do (I truly know it doesn't make them faster) when a lift arrives I never let go of the door open button, just don't trust them, in fact I usually take the stairs instead.
