    How do I get rid of some sites being in French.

    Although most of the Google sites are in English  -  "documents is always in french.

      The only way they can be in French is because you are choosing to go to French websites. Get the Google toolbar. It has a translate page option. http://www.google.com/toolbar/ie/index.html
