Adelaide is one of my favorite names. I thought about naming my baby this, but HE would not have liked it. LOL

I would not have liked it either, the city got it's name in honour of Queen Adelaide wife of King Willliam 1V, she was a stong advocate for the abolishing of slaves in England.

    OOPS! (*~*)

Rhode Island, USA, the smallest state with the longest name (although they just shortened it) It was Rhode Island and the Providence Plantations.  Changed because of political correctness, some were offended by the word "plantations"...  So now we have no claim to fame!

Ray, what is wrong with having 'Plantations'?
