If they were chucking the wood  willy nilly, they might just land within the vicinity of the same thar beavers, same beavers may appreciate this, same beavers may build dams with a little more firmness and density to them, same beavers that will deprive all your little communities of the precious liquid you crave, would you like it then? PISSED OFF? NO!

true but it's a dirty job but someones got to do it,besides beavers got their own job.
