I met a 38 year old girl the other day said I could n't believe She had a 19 yr old daughter and that she was basically beautiful which she seemed to like . Three days later I said to her when her daughters boyfriend comes round he must get a little confused not knowing who he's come to see given their looks She went ballistic and I thought I'dd complimented her

When I was younger I was told I looked like Randy Travis, years later and a lot of sickness & surgeries changed that.......lol 

When I was in court and the judge thought my son was my husband! (son wasn't so thrilled)

The oddest compliment I have ever received is that I march to the beat of a different drummer. (I don't think it was meant to be a compliment)

Nothing wrong with using a different drummer! Nowadays, they call that "coloring outside of the lines" or "thinking outside of the box". It's all good, I think. :)

you are as odd as chimp.   as a doolittle i find nothing odd about chimps- in fact, they are warm loving and verry funny.  I took it as a compliment.  my response back was" i throw poo on you"

robertgrist, & ducka, sheila is an Aussie slang term  for a female, when they say that I'm not bad for a sheila they mean I'm o.k to talk to and have a drink with (almost like one of their mates). It is meant as a compliment, in an odd sort of way
