No money and no transportation is definitely limiting. Going for walks (taking the dogs with you if you have them) is a good idea. Riding bicycles is fun; tennis, watching a youth league practice or have a Saturday morning game is fun. Going to a mall and just walking around is a hoot for us older people. Believe it or not, the library isn't a bad place to hang out. Our library loans movies, so there's an option for having a movie date at home. Maybe you both like to run. If you are in school, you could do homework together. Draw each other. If someone has a pool table or ping pong, foosball..... It's fun to grab a basketball and play "horse" or whatever you want to call it. Either of you play guitar or piano or ???? Music is good. Puzzles. BANANAGRAMS!

the first thing is make sure there is some kind of attraction. because if no attraction, any place will be boring as heck. also where to go . . . go someone where one of you have an interest, in the topic. if you like to dance, go to a club. if one or both like art, go to a museum. if you like the circus, go to the circus or the zoo. if you like to walk. take a walk together and go to starbuck for a drink or jamba juice. lunch and dinner is always great. so many places, so little time.

A few things to determine first. IF, I were to ever be in the position to ask someone out. I would make it known what my interests are prior to asking them out. Why waste time with a slug. If she expressed an interest I would than pursue it. My interests take up much time on the weekends in the summer especially. Walks in the park holding hands is not my idea of a fun day out. That may work for teenagers, not this old guy who sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Live till it hurts.
