It's unknown, that's why he is the unknown soldier. This is an old trick question, just as old as "Who is buried in Grants tomb".

One of the three (?) unknown soldiers was identified a few years ago.  I don't remember his name, though...

If we knew his name, then he wouldn't be the  Unknown Soldier . Anyway, the tomb of the unknown soldier is just a representation of all soldiers whose body was found without any I.D. . Or maybe their body was too  mutilated to see anything.
