Three Queensladers Bluey, Coot and Mongeral were working on a Mobile ~phone tower wner Coot fell and was killed.
Bluey said as the body was taken away" well it is up to us to tell his missus"
Mongeral said he would tell her as he was used to "sensitive stuff"
He was back a bit later with a carton of beer.
Where did you get the beer?" Bluey asked.
"Coots missus gave it to me" Mongeral told him.
"You mean you told her Coot was dead and she gave you a slab?" Bluey enquired.
"Well not exactly. when she answered the door I said you must be Coots widow" She said "You are mistaken, I am not a widow"
So I said "Bet you a slab of beer you are"
Yeah, you were right, you didn't have that spill the first time, now it makes sense which is unusual for a Queenslander. lol.
