    In making spanish rice my rice did not get done and all of the liquid is used up. What can I do?

    Add more water and cook at a lower heat. Do not boil, simmer gently. 

    Why use water at all ? I would use a steamer and get it plenty hot  then add rice and cover . Start with a small amount just for timing purposes . Then cook the larger amount . Colleen's idea will work as well . Choose one and happy cooking .                          Bill
