You need to answer the questions on your own. You will not make a good manager if you can't answer these. 

Unmotivated employees in any company or position are the death nail for any organization. Lazy or inept people should be terminated immediately, They are like a cancer and the mindset will spread.

Have you been to Wal-Mart lately I see lack of motivation about everything in that store all over the place been like that for a long time now.

I thought that was already the case.   That's the effect mega-coporate America has on people. Betcha a hundred bucks they were normal before they started working there. Well most, anyway.
