A rich man is one who knows riches do not make a man rich.
In a place where fresh water is unheard of, the man with a Brita would be rich indeed.
In a place where food was scarce, the man with a packet of vegetable seeds might be rich.
In a place where epidemic illness "thrived", a man with the medicine to eradicate it would be rich.
In an orphanage, a child being adopted might be considered rich.
In the material world, the guy with the biggest bank accounts and most toys is considered rich.
Richness means different things to different people, but I think you are looking for a name...Carlos Slim Helu pops up when I google for an answer.  
 

Don't know but does not necessarily mean material riches, money and such.
