Get in my car and drive to Florida as I had planned for several weeks. Can't go, my wife is very sick right now. Waiting for more tests.

Make a nice breakfast for my three sons and enjoy their company for a couple of hours. That's not going to happen....one is in jail, one is estranged from his brothers and me; the third is struggling in many ways, but we COULD have breakfast together. I'll have to get going on that.

Bob/PKB I emphasize with you, my family a are little fragmented, I just keep thinking it would be nice to have even just one christmas, brekky, or anything together, it won't happen this year (again) but like you, we can both keep hoping

Yesterday I talked to the one son I CAN have breakfast with and invited him over. He wants me to go to his house (he lives with my mom) so he can cook for the three of us. :D
