It has been YEARS since I’ve had Mince pie at Thanksgiving. Do people even eat that any more. I took it to a Thanksgiving feast one year and no one touched it. (Maybe it’s just my family?) Let me know, please.

Mince meat pie is like fruit cake to me. I'd sooner throw it away than make someone else a victim of it, lol

OOOOOOhhhh, fruit cake! Pass it over to me. I like those little red things and the little green things. Too good. I’ve always wondered if those red and green things were pieces of gummie bears.

No, those red and green things are pieces of dried fruit and they are nasty!! People know better than to give me fruitcake. They get the same one back the following year if they do. ;)

I make mincemeat tarts but don't eat them and the fruitcake is the dud gift year in and year out. Because of Bob's advice I am now going to build something out of my collection of fruitcakes. The darned things will survive a nuclear meltdown along with cock-a-roachies and fleas...........All hail King Romos. King of the Fleas!

I used to make mince pie every year. I like it but I don't know about everyone else. I also make filled cookies with mincemeat very good!
