    How is a question retired?

    Some questions almost have lives of their own; they've been circulating for 6 months or more. It's OK if it's not a duplicate, but just today I saw three Qs one right after the other, all asking for a good chili recipe.  I'm sure it was the same person.....how can the extra two be deleted? Anybody???

      No idea but I noticed those as well.  Sometimes questions go on here with just slightly different wording, splitting the responses all over the place.

        I have been wondering the same things... sometimes a question of mine will return and I wonder how on the planet it happened... or one will show up that was asked 7 months ago... not thinking, I answer then Colleen or Mel inform me that it's an old question and I feel like a right dork!


        The other question multiplied?  One of the mods delete the extras.

          Well the other side of that is that a lot of newer members have not seen the original question anyway, thus, more and different responses. Don't feel dorky!!! :)

            Will akaQA do the same for some of us? Maybe they can give us a pension and we'll go away too?!
