    i need to correct a word in a typed document with a scanner how do i go about it?

      Once a document is scanned about the only way you can change anything is to copy the document paste it back into word or whatever program you have similar to that and edit and rescan.  I do not know of a way to change/edit a document that is scanned in the scanned file mode as this is usually read only?
