Yes I love most all animals except for reptiles, snakes, bugs, insects, etc.  I have even stopped in the road to get poor turtles that are crossing across a highway and pick them up and take them a good ways out to the wooded area hoping they will not get out in the road again and get run over.

YES. I have a few wild turtles in my backyard.

I also stop on roads to move turtles off the pavement before they get SQWISHED when I get the chance.

I had a turtle when I was a kid.Turned out he was a tortoise but what the heck. I gave him away when I found out they can live for 100 years.I didn't want the little bugger outliving me!

I do like them They are little Prehistoric guys. I once stopped in the road to pick up a box turtle to take home>  Suddenly it turned on me .It was a snapping turtle! I had to get a passer by to remove him from my car.  I'm LOL now but not then
