Oh my goodness.  I hope things get sorted out quickly.

I have never seen snow in October up here before,Its crazy.

I sure do. I live on the Eastcoast. I live in central NH. I did not loose power and we only had about 5 inch of snow. Anyone south from here was not so lucky. There are still over 200 000 power outages in NH. and some had 20 inch. of snow. Connecticut still had 600 000 power outages this morning.,  Mass. and New Jersey still many power outages. It sure is a mess.

Sounds so bad - hope all is well - just heard something about the snow on the News here. Really catastrophic.

Thank you both, I am fine. Its just seeing all the flowers still blooming covered with snow and its chilly right now- 36 degrees. There are still so many power outages on the east coast, I am sure Collen does not have power, because she has not been on here. Connecticut had far more snow and power outages than we did in NH,I hope she has a way to stay warm.

I have lived in the land of the snow. We expected the unexpected. There was always at least 2 weeks of the year I couldn't go outside. The power didn't go out though... most of the wires were way underground. Actually I didn't experience power outages until I moved to British Columbia.
I once was out of power for 10 days because of snow. You sit and wait for something to happen outside. I had a fireplace... Oh man...

I now know that Colleen has been caught in the outage...Boy, is she missed.....

Its terrible to be without power this time of the year and the snowstorm was worst than anticipated. I fired up my woodstove just in case. Colleen also has the dogs and all the birds to worry about,I know that they opened up shelters for people. I hope she is alright.

You've eased my mind a little....

They say this outage is worse than the hurricane. You don't realise how much we depend on electric power.  I live in the country and when there is no electric we have no water no heat nothing! Thankfully a woodburning stove helps! I feel for all the people

It sure is. I belive 11 people died because of the storm.
