                            My initial reaction to the question is, "He thinks you are swell".
                            There is great affection in that kiss, possibly a protective instinct, sincerity, and a heart that smiles in your company.  He enjoys your company.  He likes you.
                            FOR SURE, this guy is a friend.  Whether there is "more" going on remains to be seen,  If you are hoping for "more", keep being the sweet person you probably are (people who aren't nice don't get forehead kisses), and avoid being the "little sister" type.  :D
