I was pigeon-toes as a child, but I out-grew it. I used to fall down steps and up steps at times. And I used to trip over a lot while walking down the street. After this, I became more cautious and gradually I straightened my feet.

I have a daughter who is pigeon toed and she never trips.  She is very coordinated.

I think they just get used to it
