Normal body cells grow and divide over a period of time until thet eventually die.  Cancer cells continue to grow and divide, and grow and divide.  Evevtually they gather togeather to form tumors. Tumors are lumps that can interfer with the bodys narmal processes. Sometimes cells from Tumor breaks away and travels to different tissues or organs. This is called,   Metastasis.

All human cells are capable of replication but in a different way  - they have a cell cycle - malignant cells have a cycle of many days. This is extremely complicated, depending on the stage the cycle the cell is in.

A condition exists which supports the growth.
