If your homework was applied to your school hours you would be in school for at least 3 hours longer than you are now. Would you rather do that or would you rather do the school work in the comfort of your own home?

Good point,i never looked at it that way.

lets suppose one day you are applying for a job you need to support you spouce and kids . how are you going to know what to write on the application.. and if you do get this job without math how else would you know what your getting paid.. without english you can't communicate properly..

we have homework to practice what we do later in life,like if you are an actress you need to know how to read a script,and if you work at the bank you need to know how to calculate.now do you see why you have homework?

we have homework keep up are good work if u have bad grades u should try to do best cause we need a education

The purpose of homework is for you to demonstrate that you have learned what has been taught in class and to think on your own in solving problems that may not have been covered by instruction, showing that you have initiative and skill, as demonstrated by your efforts. The educational experience is to prepare you to meet the demands of employment that may require you to think on your own to solve problems.
