Greed is never justified. I always hear, one day they will come to their senses. Don't hold your breath.
The USA is killing it's citizen. This is a fact. If you can not pay for you meds, insulin, blood pressure meds, whatever, you will die. The government turns a blind eye. If you forget to pay your taxes, he'll be all over you like white on rice. Our government is a Narcissist, it's all about him, and nothing about the people.
On tombstones they should write, murdered by the USA for lack of health care. Welcome to the greatest country in the world. If this person had been born in Europe, they'd still be alive, healthy, and most likely productive.

When people fear their government, it's called Tyranny!

Actually, there IS a contributor names "karma". It was a bit surprising to see that name being allowed. When I joined, I just wanted to be "BOB", but was told I couldn't.
karma, by the way, at the time I checked, had no karma points whatsoever.

To respond to the Dear Karma statement, I would tend to agree that, in general, CEOs receive far too much money. I agree that it is part of their job to make sure the company for which they work makes as much profit as possible. I would also agree that, too many times, the consumer suffers for the sake of "the bottom line".
The saddest thing is that the people with the power are the people with the money are the people who don't mind shaving some of the quality for the people who are "ordinary", like most of us. IF an "ordinary" person were to gain some power (via election or appointment), I wonder if that "ordinary" person would stand up for the rest of us "ordinary" people and try to make a difference.
We elect our representatives (not that my choice is often selected) to represent us. Anybody out there feeling represented lately?
