              You should give it a whirl...it does take more than one or two classes but on the upside you are bound to meet wonderful people while you are learning. I have great friends from my pottery classes.

              Have you ever heard of Seagrove NC? They have a blue vein in their clay.They have been putting pottery out since the 1700's. I use to read books on it and visit there often. And a place in Oklahoma Frankopottery, something like that.
              I have a few pieces. I have signed up for the class many times, it was never given, not enough students.

              I haven't heard of those potteries but I am writing them down to look up.
              A blue vein...I wonder what effect that has on the glazes...now my interest is sparked.
              I have taken pottery courses through University, a pottery guild and through a private school. (For about 7 years in total so far) Friends of mine are taking classes through an art center at the moment...but, I must say, courses do get cancelled a lot. Keep looking. The right course will show up and then you too can be a Mud Bud!
              It is so much fun. I love it. It is 2:30 am here and I woke up to check on the progress of honey pots...I woke up because I came up with a good idea and wanted to write it down actually...So today my day begins very early!

                  Tolerance, pick the part that disturbs you about this person and voice it. Is he criminal, a liar, and so on..? When you attack someone because  they are from a different country, or race, religion....that's ignorance.
