Sunflower seeds are very healthy. Those seeds contain vitamins (B1, B5, folate and E). E vitamin has an antioxidant activity and thus protects the cardiovascular system. Sunflower seeds contain high percentage of E vitamin. They also contain many important minerals - copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc, calcium, selenium and phosphorous. The fats content in the seeds are of the healthy kind, and they protect the heart and the cardiovascular system.
