You need to see your doctor for treatment. 

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news the answer is NO it cant be cured . I have it !!!! Learning how to breathe deeply helps not mouth breathing. The inhalators help have your Doctor prescribe one to open your airways and another one with some longer term relief the all day kind. I am living at 5,000 feet in a hot climate  so the air is thin at times ,haven't been to sea level climate so I cant say if altitude is a factor . Its manageable if you work at it ,but like it or not its there for good not reversible not fixable sorry .

Somehow the lungs just die don't know how or why . The lungs start to look like a tree with a bunch of dead branches. Never going to be green again, Life for the tree goes on until the dead branches out number the green ones then you die .Slowly suffocating not able to breathe. Tough to live with as you need to breathe all day ,no time outs . So thanks for the XXXXXs   Have a great day ,may all go well .                                      Bill
